My handle derives from me having worked for the Visitors Bureau and writing to tell folks about Fairbanks and all it has to offer. I have written poems also.

I worked in publishing for years in Las Vegas and here as a typesetter, layout artist, and even published two small newsletter style papers for Two Rivers and Fairbanks. It was hard to get the advertisement to help support them since the News Miner had the majority.  

This is such a great idea you have started and I think there's room for another paper in Fairbanks now.  The trick is to listen to what your readers are asking for and do it. That's where alot of papers go wrong. People don't want to hear all negative they like to hear positive and they want to hear the news as it happened not watered down or guessed about.

I would love to be part of this new media and wish you all the luck in this endeavor.
